PLEASE NOTE: I am not an experienced romance writer in the least.  In fact, I hardly ever even READ romance fics.  Especially B/V fics.  But I have noticed that ALMOST all of the B/V fics are about Vegeta and Bulma getting together.  So I decide to make an unusual fic about them broken up. Please! Don't kill me, all you B/V fans!!!!!

Vegeta sat down on a rock, miles from any city, and caught his breath; he had been flying for the better part of the day, and was exhausted.

"I wouldn't be here now if I..."

He stopped himself.  No use sulking.  If it happened, it happened.  He couldn't do anything to stop it now.  He and Bulma had just grown so far apart, not having one thing in common to talk about.  He still couldn't stop thinking of her as the youthful, energetic talkative girl who tried to break his emotion barriers.  She just seemed so...dull those days.

He got up and dusted himself off, ready to leave the barren desert behind.
