Trunks woke up that moring with only one thung on his mind - that stupid bet he made with Marron.  He would have never made that bet is he knew Marron was gonna go along with it.  Just when he knew Marron's every move she does the unpredictable.  What now? Trunks has to fall in love. Marron just has to look into some guys eyes and fall madly in love.
Trunks? What does he do?  He has to get a date, and try to fall in love with whoever.  Marron was one of the prettiest girls in school, and she's dated the hottest jocks, and hunks in school.

Trunks came out of his room and went downstairs."Hey Mom, hey Bra, Where's dad?"

Bulma was clearing the table, and Bra was still eating."Oh you know him,he's probably out training or somethin."Bulma answered."Why don't you come and eat, before you go to school?"

"I was just about to do that." Trunks answered.  He sat down across from Bra."Hey lil' sis' what ya eating?"

"Cereal."

"Oh." Trunks started eating and gobbling eberything up in the table.

"Hey Trunks, who's gonna be your new girlfriend for the year, or should I say week?" Bra teased.

"Shut up, I don't know."

"Well you better find one of you want to win your bet with Marron."

Trunks stopped eating."Who told you that?"

"Goten, who else would, not like I trust you will tell me."

"Ha,Ha very funny." Trunks said annoyed."Just don't tell mom, anything about it okay?"

"Why?"

"You know what's gonna happen, first she'll tell Auntie ChiChi, then 18, then...."

Trunks was cut off by Bra." That reminds me, Trunks can you go shopping with me?"

Trunks looked at her eyes wide." SHOPPING!!?? Me? No way!"

"Fine!!! If you'd rather me telling mom, and then Auntie ChiChi, then 18 then...."

"Fine but you mention one thing to mom, and your kaput." Trunks got upand walked away from the table.

"C ya Trunks, hope to see you later in the shopping mall."

Trunks didn't pay any attention, but walked up and went to school. When he got their he scanned the highschool, which was right beside the college he went to for any sign of Marron."None." Trunks thought.  He went his way as usual." Yo prez wait up!"

Trunks looked behind him, it was Goten his best buddy (besides Marron)." What's up Goten?"

"Oh nothing new."

"Why the heck did you tell Bra about the bet?" Trunks asked.

"She asked me to."

"Do you know what's gonna happen if my mom finds out? First she'll tell your mom, then she'll tell Marron's mom, then she'll tell the..."

"Hey man, it's Sherry Valance at 3o'clock.' Goten said.  He pointed to a girl wearing a cheerleading costume.  Trunks groaned he did like her alot at first, but later on she was a pain in the butt.  For one thing is her accent.  Everything she said came out as a question,except for the actual questions." Heu Sherry." Trunks said.

"Hey Trunks?" She gave him a peck on the cheek."Nice to see you again? So how was your summer."

"It was great, I had fun, how bout your's?"

"I liked it?  I worked in a kiddie pool?  The kids were nice to me?" She said.

"Oh look at the time, I'm gonna be late for Mr. Mauhgn's class.

"I understand? I know that teacher?  How bout we go out sometime."

Before Trunks could answer Goten answered for him." Um...maybe?" Goten said teasingly.  Trunks knew that wasn't very nice but he couldn't helpbut let out a little laugh." I'll see you later?"

"Like okay? Like bye?" Goten said again.  Sherry gave them a strange look and went away. "She's beggining to be a pain." Trunks said.

"I can tell." Trunks and Goten walked into class, and sat down.  They waited for class to start, meanwhile Trunks saw that Goten was jottingsomething down on a peice of paper."Hey Ten what's that?" Trunks asked looking over Goten's shoulder.

"This is a list of girls I plan to go out with for the year." Goten said triumphantly.  Trunks scanned down the paper of all the girl's he dated.  Of course mostl the girls Trunks dated Goten already dated.Trunks was scanning down when he suddenly gasped, "Marron?!"

Goten looked at him." Yup, Marron is my type." Goten put a big star right next to her name.

"You can't just go out with her and hurt her." Trunks reasoned.

"I wasn't gonna do that, I just meant I might date her." Goten said. Goten saw Trunks looked a little weird." I get it."

"Get what?" Trunks asked getting a little defensive.

"Your jealous!" Goten declared.

"Your insane." Trunks said." She's my and your bestfriend."

"Come on Prez tell me your not in love with her."

"I'm not, were bestfriends and it will stay that way no matter what."

"Whatever!" Goten said.  He leaned closer to Trunks."Come on Trunks don't lie." he threatened.

Trunks looked at him, and he started blushing."What?!  Get away from me man!."

"Oh...who is blushing here?"

"Your really insane."

"Okay then at least tell me you like her."

"I do like her, what else do you wanna know?"

"Nothing, just remember you only have until the winter ball in Marron's school."

"Just shut up, I'll get a girl."

"It's suppost to be a girl to fall in love with."

"I know that."  Trunks said bravely.  But inside he knew he might have a hard time blurting out his first "I love you" to one lucy girl somewhere.  Goten was still jotting down name's.    Trunks was really getting bored.   He thought about what Goten said.  Ofcourse it was rumored that they did date, and were madly in love with eachother. That's one of the reasons he can't stay in a relationship, he has thesame problem with Marron.  But he was thinking, how can he fall in love easily.  Like Marron said, it's just not like getting an A+ in a history test.  This is one bet he has to win.  The Trunks Breifs,
president of Capsule corp to be, with the word loser shaved on his headthat would look pretty bad.  Then he thought about Marron with rainbow stripes on her head.  That woud be funny.  " Is Goten right?  Is love right under my nose? Or not?"
