Tunnen looks up at his brother
then stands up to his feet. He wipes the dust off his clothes and off his
furry tail. “Here” Corran says handing Tunnen his tail “hold on to it”.
Tunnen grabs hold of his brother’s tail and is pulled hard as his brother
starts to run at full speed toward their village. A large dust cloud looms
behind them as they whip through the tall grass. “Slow down!” Tunnen yells
as he holds onto his brother’s tail for dear life. “ We can’t! Overkill
will tan our hides if we are late for midmeal!”
In short time they are in
the village surrounded by other Saya-jin people, all doing their own jobs
in the community. “ Corran! Tunnen! Overkill was just looking for two!
He’s at the house now! You’d better hurry up!” a short man selling fruit
yells to the boys as they blur by.
“Aw man we’re dead now!” Corran
says going faster.
On the other side of the village a small quaint house stands with a beautiful garden in front of it. The two boys rush inside and sit down at the table. “Your late,” a woman says walking up to the table. “ Vertell was looking for you two,” She says. “ We know Mom, and we’re real sorry we’re late but Lazy here stopped to rest!” Corran says looking over at his little brother. “ I’m sorry, I was tired,” Tunnen says. “ Well if that’s the case I’ll get Vertell to be lenient to you,” Their mother says smiling. She walks over to them and lovingly kisses them on their foreheads. They hear the door open and some one walk inside. “Well speak of the devil,” Their mother says smiling.
“ Hey Mother” a teenage boy says as he kisses his mother’s cheek “Now where have you two been?”. Corran and Tunnen sink their heads as their older brother looks over at them. “ Well…..um…Overkill we um…” Corran stutters. “ You guys were over at the swamp weren’t you?” Overkill asks. All he gets is silence. “How many time do I have to tell you two not to go into there its too dangerous!” Overkill says. “ Sorry,” they both say hanging their heads. Overkill smiles and says “ its okay guys I forgive you,” Overkill sits down and waits for his dinner.
Overkill is a tall, milk chocolate skinned, sixteen-year-old boy with a fade hair cut. He wears a sleeveless black leather trench coat with large baggy black pants. The coat is tied at the waist with a bright red sash. Under the coat he wears a tight red T-shirt. On his hands are two black leather fingerless gloves. He is medium build with tight muscles. He also wears metal boots on his feet for training and to add a little more pain to his kicks. On his right shoulder is a tattoo of the Eternal Dragon. He took the shoulder pads off a pair of Saya-jin armor and attached them to the shoulders of his coat. He also brandishes a long razor sharp Katana on his back. A hole was put in the very back of his jacket so he could slip his Saya-jin tail through it. There are not many black Saya-jins but he doesn’t care, to him that just makes him and his family special.
Overkill’s mother finally arrives to the table with her arms full of food, and then she sets them on the table. It is an instant show down, Overkill stares at Corran and Tunnen, and he watches their every move. No one moves and the room grows silent. Corran and Tunnen just stare at Overkill and vise versa. And it happens, Corran suddenly blinks and the rush starts. In a flash of pure speed Overkill grabs the only two drumsticks in the pile of food. “Aw man!” both of the little ones exclaim. “ Ha ha! I am still the champ!” Overkill says holding up the drumsticks in his hands. “Every time there are drumsticks you always hog them!” Corran says. “Yeah!” Tunnen adds in.
“Vertell! What have I told
you about hogging the food?” the mother says coming in to eat. “ Mom please
call me Overkill like every one else,” Overkill says annoyed. “No I wont!
I’m your mother and I don’t care if you are the most powerful Saya-jin
on the planet or that you are you only one ever to go Super Saya-jin either!”
His mother says. “Yes mam” Overkill sighs as he eats his dinner. “Ec-hem!”
His mother says looking crossly at him. Overkill sighs again and gives
the drumsticks back to his brothers. “You didn’t think that I would notice
did you?” Overkill’s mother says to him. Overkill sighs again and continues
to eat his food.
After their meal is done Overkill,
Tunnen and Corran walk out side. Tunnen and Corran wear their martial arts
uniforms. Corran’s suit is red while Tunnen’s suit is sky blue. “Time for
training!” Overkill says going into a fighting stance. Both Corran and
Tunnen do the same. “Now charge up!” Overkill orders and his brothers do
as they are told. Overkill feels their power grow as they power up. “You
guys call that a chi?” Overkill says, “ I can barely sense it!” Overkill
can definitely sense their great powers growing higher and higher he just
says that to motivate them to do more. The rocks and pebbles around their
feet start to levitate high into the sky. “Not bad boys, you’ve almost
reached your peak! I wont be the only Super Saya-jin around here for long!”
Overkill says smiling.
“Now for some sparring!” Overkill
says going into his sparring stance and powering up. His brothers get into
their stances and power up also. The boys look at each other for a second,
nod their heads, then turn towards Overkill. Both at the same time give
Overkill sly smiles then yell loudly as they perform a massive power up.
Their auras explode into golden rays of light as their hair turns long
and golden. Overkill stands speechless with his mouth hanging low. He is
amazed at the site of his little brothers performing Super Saya-jin right
in front of him. All the other members of the community gather around at
their fence and stare in wonder at the momentous event.
“Whoa, Whoa, Whoa! When did
this happen?” Overkill says trying to hold in his excitement. “ Yesterday,”
both of them say smiling to Overkill. “ That’s why we have been going to
the swamp, to train and surprise you!” Corran says. Overkill walks over
to his little trainees and hugs them both long and hard. They go out of
Super Saya-jin as they hug back. All the other people surrounding them
clap together for the touching site.
“What’s that?” Corran says
looking up into the sky. Overkill follows his brother’s finger and sees
what he is talking about. A large ball of flame moves toward them at an
amazing speed. “ It’s coming right at us!” some one in the crowd yells.
“Everyone move!” Overkill yells. They do not complain as they quickly run
away from the area. “Mother get away!” Overkill yells as she does
exactly what he says. “That means you too!” Overkill says to
his little brothers. “No we’re staying with you!” Tunnen says to Overkill.
Overkill knows he can’t argue with them when they are like this so he just
does what he is supposed to do: protect his family and his village!
Overkill flies
high into the air right at the ball of flames heading right at him. The
ball of flames is the size of a city block and is moving towards him really
fast. Overkill puts out his hands and “catches” the ball of flames. The
force of the ball is still too much and pushes down on him and forces him
toward the village. He knows he will die with the city if he cannot get
out of the way. He suddenly notices that the ball of flames starts t get
lighter. He opens his eyes and sees his brothers are right next to him
using their strength to help him. He smiles and signals them of his intents
by moving his head in sharp right turns. All three of them use their force
to redirect the flaming ball away from the city. They let the ball of flames
go as it moves away from the village and crashes on the side of it.
All three of them pant loudly
and smile at each other. Overkill rubs his brothers’ heads in appreciation
for their help. “ Good job guys,” He says. “ Hey, look at that!” Tunnen
says pointing to the crash site of the ball of flames, which has cooled
down to reveal a circular metal space ship. “ What the?” Corran says amazed
at the size of the ship.
They land right beside the massive ship and study it. “ Who do you think it belongs to?” Tunnen asks. “Dunno,” Overkill says. They hear a loud whirring sound as a part of the ship opens up. A green skinned man wearing Saya-jin armor walks out followed by two others. The first man is a large hulking man; every part of his body was abnormally large. The second man had blue skin and a baldhead and was very tall and skinny. The third was orange skinned with long black hair his muscles rippled under his armor and was medium height.
“Welcome to our world, hope
you guys are ok from the crash,” Tunnen says walking towards the men with
his hand out reached to shake their hands. Both Overkill and Corran put
their arms in front of Tunnen to stop him. “Hello, welcome ” Overkill says
watching the mens’ every move, “ were do you come from?” “None of your
business you stupid little Saya-jin,” the green skinned man says rudely.
Overkill’s face turns serious and he looks at the man angrily. “Hey I thought
that all those Saya-jin weaklings died when we blew up their planet,” the
orange man says to the green one. “ Me too except for that stupid prince….
What was his name? Oh yeah Vegeta! And the other one, Kakarot!” the green
man says. “They ended up killing Freeza, Coola, and King Cold! With some
stupid Super Saya-jin move! Their hair turned gold or something like that!”
the blue man says to the others. “Oh yeah? Where are they now?” the green
man asks. “ Some back water planet called Earth. Talk about a stupid name!”
Overkill starts to grow enraged
at the men and his energy starts to grow slowly and slowly with his anger.
Overkill’s teeth grind together loudly and attract the attention of the
men. “Oh…are you still here?” the green man says smiling. “Sorry to tell
you kiddies this but we’re taking over your planet and we are going to
sell it to some really nice investors!” the blue man says. “ Over my dead
body!” Overkill says.
“Then so be it!” the green man says
as he tackles Overkill and rams him through the trunk of a tree. The blue
man kicks Corran far into the air and flies up after him while the orange
man throws a punch at Tunnen.
Tunnen easily dodges the punch
and kicks the orange man across the face. The orange man is sent flying
through the air and into the wall of the metal ship, leaving a large dent
in it. Overkill regains his composure after the blow and gives the green
man a roundhouse kick to the stomach. The green man throws a punch at Overkill
but Overkill blocks the punch and quickly elbows the man in the jaw. The
green man falls to the ground hard and quickly leaps up to his feet. He
grabs Overkill by the shoulders and puts pressure on them. Overkill just
smiles and leans far back. Overkill quickly backflips and kicks the green
man right in the jaw and sends him flying into the air. Overkill quickly
flies up after him.
Corran fires a Ki blast at
the blue man, which the man easily dodges. The blue man suddenly disappears
and then reappears right behind Corran! Corran turns around is kicked in
the ribs sending him plummeting to the ground. Corran puts down his hands
and flips himself before he could hit the ground. The blue man disappears
again but Corran is ready for him! The blue man reappears again but this
time Corran swings his elbow back fast and catches the blue man in the
groin. The blue man stutters and falls to the ground.
Tunnen punches the orange
man in the gut then kicks him in the face sending him high into the air.
The orange man fires several Ki blasts down at Tunnen. Tunnen moves quickly
and dodges the several blasts and fires one of his own at the man. The
Ki blast hits the man and he starts to fall to the waiting earth. Tunnen
rockets to the air and uppercuts the orange man, then he spins fast and
does a spin hook kick that knocks one of the orange man’s teeth out. Tunnen
fires another powerful Ki blast, which carries the orange man quickly to
the ground and explodes. Nothing is left of the orange man except smoke
and ash, and Tunnen smiles at his first victory!
Overkill performs a series of quick punches and kicks to the green man and the green man stumbles in the air. Overkill knees the green man in the head then punches him in the neck, which snaps the man’s collarbone! “Now see you didn’t have to come down here and start a fight! Now me and my lil’ bros. have to end it!” Overkill says mocking the green man. All the green man can do is cough and spit out blood. The green man charges at him again but is given a backhand by Overkill. Overkill continues to decimate his opponent with very fast and powerful jabs, kicks and elbows. The green man just covers up his face and Overkill can hear a faint sound but isn’t sure what is it. So Overkill stopped his endless pounding and listens. Overkill was shocked to find out what it was. The green man was crying! Tears flowed down the green man’s face. “Please stop beating me!” The green man pleaded. “Your pitiful! You start a fight and then you start crying when you feel the pain of being beat? Now that’s sad!” Overkill says in disgust at the man. “ Go away you don’t deserve to be killed by me!” Overkill says turning around. The green man sniffled and stood up straight, then he smiles and pulls out a small knife from his pocket. Then he slowly moved toward the unaware Overkill with the knife raised high. Now he was right behind Overkill then the knife started to make its descent towards the back of Overkill’s head. Before the knife could pierce Overkill’s skull, Overkill had taken out his Katana brought it past his waist and plunged it into the green man’s stomach in one fluid motion. The man gave a silent URRCK! Then slowly slid off of Overkill’s sword and plummeted to the ground. Overkill smiled then cleaned off his blade with a cloth.
The blue man threw several
punches at Corran but all where either blocked or dodged. Overkill and
Tunnen suddenly appear behind the blue man and watched the fight. Corran
sees this and says “ Oh sorry my brothers are here so I’ll have to end
this now ok?” Corran ducks down as another punch flies over his head then
puts his hands up to the man’s chest. From the back all Overkill and Tunnen
see is all of the blue man’s organs fly out as a Ki blast flies through
him. The blue man falls to the ground and never gets back up. “ Man lil’
bro. That was I bit messy don’t you think?” Overkill says smiling to his
little brother.
All three stop suddenly as
they feel a very powerful force in the crashed ship. “What is it?” Tunnen
says shaking. “It’s got to be the ship itself!” Corran says. “N…No it isn’t!
The force is moving! Towards us!” Overkill says amazed at the power. Out
of the ships entrance comes the Doom! Doom! Doom! of footsteps. “Wha..what
is it?” Tunnen asks scared. “We’re about to find out!” Corran says as a
large man walks out of the ship. The man is at least twelve feet tall with
huge biceps and thighs. He is wearing Saya-jin armor and carries a large
battleaxe on his back. “ I am GOLEM! How dare you kill my soldiers!” Golem
yells at them. “They attacked us!” Overkill yells back unafraid of the
huge giant. “ They were some of my strongest warriors, and now I will need
replacements!” Golem says in his loud voice that echoed like a lightning
storm. “If you surrender now I will let you live as my new warriors,” Golem
says.
Now a large crowd had formed
around the ship they had watched the fighting closely. “ I won’t serve
a tyrant!” Overkill yells loudly at the giant warrior. Corran and Tunnen
nod their heads showing they think the same as their brother. “ Who are
you to think that you could actually beat me?” Golem yells. “ I never said
we would beat you but now that you mention it, it sounds like a good idea,”
Overkill says getting into his fighting stance. “Very well then Saya-jins
you and your planet will die!”
Golem yells as he punches Overkill
and sends him crashing through a row of large trees. Golem then stomps
on top of Corran forcing him into the hard ground. Tunnen then leaps into
the air and uppercuts Golem hoping to uproot him from on top of his brother
but Golem stands unmoved. Golem feels himself move as Corran tries to stand
straight from under Golem’s foot, but instead Golem adds more weight to
his foot. Golem smiles as Corran struggles to get up. A yell is heard as
Overkill collides his fist with Golem’s face. As soon as Overkill lands
on the ground he uppercuts Golem and gets him to step back. Overkill grabs
Corran and flies into the air.
“That guy is tough!” Tunnen
says as he rejoins his brothers. Overkill lets go of his brother as his
brother starts to keep himself in the air. “Yeah, my punch only got him
to step back from you. Usually that would take someone’s head off!” Overkill
says. “We’re going to need a lot of power! Tunnen! Corran! GO SUPER SAYA-JIN
NOW!” Overkill says. The boys do as their told once again and they release
their massive energy and their hair turns a brilliant gold. “Now we are
ready for him!” Tunnen says. “Hope he can’t fly,” Corran says. Right when
he finished his sentence Golem was on top of them. Golem elbowed Tunnen
and kicked Overkill. Golem then punched Corran to the ground far below.
Corran didn’t rebound himself like he did before, he didn’t have a chance
to, he crashed into the ground hard and fast. Corran lay out cold from
the hit. “CORRAN!!!” Overkill yelled to his fallen brother.
Tunnen looked up to Golem right when
the back of Golem’s hand met Tunnen’s face. Tunnen reels through the air
as he crashes into the nearest mountainside, leaving a gapping hole where
he entered. “TUNNEN!!!” Overkill yelled over in the direction of the mountains.
He didn’t get an answer; Tunnen
was knocked out too. “My babies!” Their mother yells hysterically as she
holds Corran in her arms. She couldn’t get to Tunnen so she held Corran.
“ Stupid Saya-jin woman!” Golem yells as he fire a massive energy blast
at Corran and their mother. “NO!!!” Overkill yells as he races the blast
trying to get their first. Unfortunately he looses. The blast hits it’s
target and explodes with a loud BOOM! The blast is so powerful that it
rips apart the village and kills all the residents living there. The smoke
clears the screams of mothers and babies stop and the light from the blast
fades. All that is left is a crying sixteen-year-old boy who holds the
destroyed bodies of his mother and his brother. Tears flow from his face
to the ground.
“Hey kid!” Golem laughs “ want
to try and save the other one?” Golem charged up another blast and throws
it at the mountain range that Tunnen crashed into. “NO!!!” Overkill yells
as he rockets towards the mountain range. This time he makes it there before
the blast. He out reaches his arms and takes to blast head on. The blast
is too powerful though and sends Overkill flying toward the mountain. A
valiant effort that proved stupid. Overkill and the blast run into the
mountainside and the blast explodes tearing apart the whole mountainside.
The sound of the explosion fades and the smoke clears. All that is left
of the mountain is rubble.
The rubble stirs as Overkill
knocks away the rocks and small boulders that were on top of him. He exhales
loudly and then remembers Tunnen. Frantically Overkill throws the boulders
to the side trying to dig his way to his buried brother. Overkill starts
to loose hope then hears a faint cough. He digs in the direction of the
coughing. He picks up a large boulder and finds his little brother Tunnen
barely alive. Overkill lifts him out of the rubble and holds him close
to his body. “ Come on Tunnen keep strong, we’ll make it!” Overkill says
to his brother but he knows better. “V..Vertell. I…I can’t feel my legs,”
Tunnen says in between breathes. “ Hold on little guy, I won’t let you
die,” Overkill says sobbing loudly. “ V…Vertell my body is going numb,
what happened?” Tunnen says coughing, “ Vertell… I’m tired… very
tired,” Overkill cries softly and holds Tunnen closer. “ It’s ok buddy,
just go to sleep, sniff, just go to sleep,” Overkill says softly. Tunnen
closes his eyes and lays his head on Overkill’s shoulders. Tunnen then
goes limp in Overkill’s arms. Overkill cries loudly and holds Tunnen closer
to him. Overkill’s tears moisten Tunnen’s suit and turns it a dark blue.
Overkill looks towards Golem
and grinds his teeth loudly. Overkill kisses Tunnen’s forehead and lays
him down softly. He stands and looks towards Golem who is laughing his
large head off. Overkill’s rage peaks and he lets out a yell never herd
before, one of pure rage, anger, sorrow and strife. He releases his power
and his Saya-jin abilities show themselves. A brilliant golden light explodes
from him with a loud SHOOOOOOM! And his hair turns a brilliant gold. Even
tough he achieved this amazing level of power he refuses to stop. His power
continues to grow to wondrous levels. Another explosion of power comes
from him and his hair is even longer than before, he has reached his SECOND
Super Saya-jin level! But rage and sadness beacons him to go farther and
he does. A massive jolt of energy is released from him again and his golden
hair now reaches far down to his knees, his THIRD Super Saya-jin level.
That is when he stopped, the air was cold and all around him was silence.
Overkill looked at Golem with cold green eyes that were filled with hate.
With explosive power Overkill
launches himself at Golem with the intent to kill him. Golem remained unmoved
and waited. Overkill was now moving as fast as lightning and had a massive
punch ready to give to Golem. But with reflexes just as fast as Overkill
was flying Golem takes out his battleaxe and hits Overkill with the broad
side of it.
Overkill falls and to him it seems
every thing slowed down as he fell he had time to think about things, his
life, his friends, and his family, how he has now lost all of them. Overkill
hits the ground hard and lays still and closes his eyes hoping that he
would die right then. He had failed to defend his village, his family and
his life. What else was there to live for?
He could hear Golem laughing
and he could hear him walking up the ramp and into his ship. He also hears
Golem say “ This planet annoys me, it is better to blow it up than sell
it,” Overkill hears the ship’s booster kick in and it fly away. He was
still alive, he knew he was too strong to die like this even if he wanted
to. Another thing he knew was he wasn’t going to die this way! Overkill
raises himself up and limps to the woods near the ruins of his village.
He cleared away a pile of bushes and revealed a Saya-jin space pod. He
flops inside and closes the door to it. “Destination please,” the on board
computer asks. Where to? He didn’t think where he was going to go. So he
said the first place that came to mind. “Set destination for… Earth,” Overkill
says. The space pod lifts into the air and flies away in a flash. Overkill
passes out in the seat and goes out of Super Saya-jin. It is good that
he passed out he would have gone crazy seeing his home planet explode from
an energy blast coming from Golem’s ship. He sleeps restlessly in the cockpit
of the space pod dreaming of his dead family and of his REVENGE.
