Marron hummed as she put on her earrings.*I wonder where he's going to take me tonight* she thought. Marron swirled in her dress. It was a lovely navy one, with thin straps and a see through fabric outside of the normal fabric. Her hair was drawn into a tight bun, and had two strands of curly blond hair hanging down her face. She giggled as she went to answer the doorbell. "Hi." Trunks was standing outside the door, smirking. He has holding the largest bouquet of red roses Marron had ever seen. He stepped in and kissed her. "You look beautiful as always, my angel." he said. Marron made a face. "You're such a flirt. But I guess that's why I love you, 'cause you're SOOO charming." Marron took the roses and stepped into the kitchen. She put the roses into a pretty glass vase and and set it on the table. She grabbed her coat, kissed Trunks quickly, and then the two stepped out. "Ahem!" Trunks opened the door of the black convertible for Marron to step in. "Thank you very much." She smiled at him and stepped in.

They were at the red carpet of the
finest French restaurant in the country, when screaming girls started rushing
towards Trunks. Marron folded her arms over her chest and gave Trunks a
glare. "Hun, I didn't know they were gonna be here!" Trunks yelled. He
quickly ran away and took Marron's arms.
"I guess you didn't know..." Marron
said. They both went in, and didn't look back at the crowd. "Reservations?"
the man said once they stepped in.
"Umm, 8:00. Trunks Briefs." Trunks
turned to Marron, who was looking at everything in awe, and smiled. The
man was flipping through the book and he saw the reservation. He smirked.
"Ahh, the PRIVATE dining table..." He quickly took menus and showed Trunks
and Marron to a room which had a curtain covering it. It was nestled in
the corner but the nicest place in the resturant. The man pulled the curtain
apart to reveal a candle-lit table, which was covered in a fancy velvet
tablecloth. The chairs had velvet seating also, and had hearts carved in
the back. The walls were covered with love paintings, and in every corner
were beautiful plants. Soft music played in the background. "So, you like,
Mr. Briefs?" Trunks just shrugged and said, "It's okay, Pierre. I'll just
intercom you when we order.
Thank You." Pierre went out
of the room and pulled the curtains close. Marron smiled her best smile,
which Trunks called the "1000-Watt Smile". "I---don't know what to
say. This is all too perfect. You did all this, for me. Oh, I just love
you!" Marron ran up to him and hugged him. Trunks pulled her away and said,
"I love you too. But we gotta order.
It's already 8:30." Marron had to read most of the French for Trunks, and
ordered for him too. It was nearly 9:10 when they finished, and Trunks
was anxious about getting out of the restaurant.
They were taking a late night stroll
in the park when Trunks stopped Marron and started talking. "Marron, there's
something you need to know. We've been going out for 6 months now, and
everyday has been great. Before you came into my love life, I was---different.
But you changed me, Marron. In a good way. You're my whole world, and I
don't know what I would do without you. I love you with all my heart and
will always love you. And I guess there's no other way to ask---" Trunks
got down on one knee and pulled out a small black velvet box. "Marron,
I love you. Will you make me the happiest and luckiest guy in the world---"
he opened the box. "And marry me?" Marron jaw dropped open as she looked
at the ring, and then at Trunks. *oh no, what's happening? Is she going
to say no?* Trunks thought. Instead, Marron just smiled her 1000-watter
and cried. "Trunks, OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!" And she dropped down to
her knees and hugged him. They both got up and Trunks slid the ring onto
her finger. It was a 1 and 1/2 carat diamond in the middle and was surrounded
by little 1/4 carat diamonds. The gold was 24k. Marron was now red faced
and she hugged Trunks again. "I love you," She whispered. "I love you too."
Trunks whispered back. And they kissed a passionate and long kiss under
the starry sky. ***

FIVE YEARS LATER
*****
"Marron, I'm home!" Trunks said.
Marron ran up to him and kissed him. She was wearing a pink dress and over
it was an apron. Her hair was tied into a ponytail and she was still as
beautiful as always to Trunks.
"So honey, how was work?" Marron
usually asked. "Always the same," he told Marron. "bad because you're not
there." They kissed and he held her close. "Do you know I love you?" he
asked her. "I know. And I love you more." Marron said.
"DADDY!!!" Trunks and Marron's four
year old daughter ran up to him and grabbed his neck down. She looked exactly
like her mother. Golden blond hair wrapped up in a messy pony tail. She
had blue eyes, and a very little nose. She was wearing a pink dress that
was covered in paint stains. His daughter hugged him. The little girl's
twin brother came by holding a minature capsule car and racing it with
another one. His hair was purple, and he had the famous smirk. He looked
exactly like Chibi Trunks but he didn't like fighting at all. Marron watched
her family like she had always dreamed of, and she was glad she had chosen
the right guy. She kissed her husband again, then hugged her children as
they went into the kitchen together.
