-I should have let us just be friends but I wanted more.

Lately Trunks and Pan had been drifting apart from each other. They have been dating for about 9 months. In the
begging when they were just friends they always called and talked to each other about what was going on in their
schools, or going over to each others house to hang out.

Pan felt so close to him and yet now they were so far apart. He never called anymore and when he did it was only for
a minute or two and she did most of the talking.

Slowly Pan picked up the phone and dialed Trunks' number and listen to it ring.

"Hello?"

"Oh, hello Bulma can I talk to Trunks for a minute?" J

"Oh, Hi Pan! Sure hold on and let me get him for you."J

Pan sat hesitantly and listens to Bulma call for Trunks.

"Hello?"

"Hi."

"Hi."

"We haven't talked in a while."

"You never called."

"What! Yes, I did! Besides you promised to call me back and that was.... a week ago!" 8I

"I did? Sorry. When was the last time you called?"

"Um…let me see last night at 8:00!" Pan was getting angry now from Trunks acting so arrogantly, she sighed and
closed her eyes and collected her thoughts.

"I have to go."

"Wait! Maybe we can do something tomarrow, Okay? You can fly over here and we can hang out like the old times."

"I don't know we'll see I have to go, bye!"

Trunks quickly hung up the phone leaving a hurt and confused Pan on the other side.

-What just happened? Why did he hurry off like that?

Pan sat stunned with the phone when there was a knock on her bedroom door.

"Come in."

"Everything okay Hun?"

"Yes, Mom."

Videl looked curiously at Pan.

"You sure? You look upset about something."

"Yes, Mother I'm fine."

"Okay."

With that Videl left the room closing the door behind her.

Trunks looked up from his bed and stared at the door before getting up and walking out through it.

-I was unfair to her. Why am I doing this to her? I should end it now without hurting her more than I already am.
Gohan is going to kill me.

"Mother, can I go to Pan's tomorrow?"

"Yes, Trunks, why you asking?"

"Hmm....oh heh, heh no reason, just asking." 8P

-Why did I ask? I never ask if I can go anywhere. This is just getting to me I need to go train with Father.

~Life is a dream with a beginning and an end,

Life is a poem,

Pan had decided to train in the woods a few miles away from her house. But her sadness kept getting in her way.

"AHH! Trunks! You have ruined my life! How can I still Love you!?"

Pan thought out loud practically yelling it.

"You love me?"

"Trunks! Uh...yeah I do." 8)

"IM sorry."

"What?" -_-()

"I’m sorry you feel that way."

"Why? Don't you feel the same way?"

"No."

Hot tears started to form in Pan's eyes. They burned with anger and sadness. 8*(

"Th…then why did you hide it for so long?"

"I don't know."

Now it was all flashing back to her. He wasn't hiding it he never did. At the party when she was depressed he didn't
make any move to comfort her. When that girl flirted with him he didn't care.

"Are you ashamed of me?"

Pan asked now angry the tears gone.

"N…no I’m not."

"What the hell is your problem then?! Why did you want to go out with me?"

"I liked you then."

~Life is a secret,

"I hate you."

Pan Suddenly increased her power to Super Sayin and stared at him.

"Pan? What are you doing?"

Pan took off not knowing what she was doing. The only thing in her mind was to get away from him as fast as she
could.

-What have I done?

Trunks thought to himself and sat down on the ground.

"Trunks?"

Bra came walking up.

"What happened? I saw Pan Power up and take off then I saw you."

"Nothing Bra, leave me alone."

"You sound so childish, I’m not leaving until you tell me what happened."

"Fine then I'll leave."

And with that Trunks flew off into the sky. -_-(::)

-Hey! Something's bothering them both. What could it be? Oh...no he didn't. Did he?

Bra slowly turned around and started running towards Pan's house.

~Life is a story only one

"Pan! Pan you home?"

Bra yelled as she ran up to Pan's door and knocked.

"Bra you're all out of breath what's wrong?"

Gohan asked concerned that something bad had just happened.

No…nothing sorry Gohan."

Bra said finally catching her breath.

"Is Pan home?"

"Yes, she is, but something's bugging her do you know what it is?"

"No."

Bra fibbed.

"Please find out for me okay?"

Bra nodded her head and made her way to Pan's room.

Pan's door was closed so Bra knocked gently and opened up the door.

"Can I come in?"

"Y...yeah s...sure com… come in."

Pan sobbed trying her hardest not too.

Bra walked over to her and tried to comfort her.

"He broke up with you didn't he?"

"Ho…how did yo...you know?"

"When I saw you get angry and fly away then Trunks sat down on the ground and seemed sort of sad and angry
with himself. I knew."

"Why…why would he...he do that to m...me?"

"I don't know. I know he loves you though."

"I should have seen it coming, I did! But I didn't want to believe it.

He Doesn't love me. He hates me." L

"No, that's not true I saw it in his eyes."

Just if on cue there was a knock on the door. Bra got up and opened it to see Trunks, She Frowned at him and let him
in leaving as he entered.

"Pan?"

"Why are you here?"

~ I never wanted to hurt you,

I was blind and stupid,

"I’m sorry."

"No, you're not."

With that Trunks leaned down cupping her chin and kissed her softly.

"Yes, I am."

~ I don't know what I was thinking,

all I know now is I wasn't thinking at all,

Pan smiled softly.

"Pan, I want you back. I don't know what I was thinking when I did that to you."

"Then why did you do it?"

"Cause I am dumb."

"I already knew that, tell me something I don't know."

Pan giggled and sat up as Bra walked in.

"You two okay? I didn't hear any yelling or uh...hey! You two back together? That's great!" J

"Yeah." Both Trunks and Pan smiled and got up.

~ It will never happen again,

cause now I can see and all I see now is you my friend.
